Through Jakarta Environmental Management Agency (BPLHD), Jakarta Provincial Government will program a climate village in each urban village. The program aims to realize people adapt to climate change.

Section Head of Supervision, Control and Environment Pollution for Jakarta BPLHD, Mudarisin disclosed that people will be taught various ways how to adapt to climate change. One of them is by constructing biopori hole as puddle reduction.
"As the initial stage, we want every urban village has climate change program. People will be taught how to adapt to climate change. Later on there will be in all over Jakarta," he expressed, Thursday (6/9).
Duri Kosambi Designated as Climate VillageAccording to him, adaption can also be done by encouraging people utilize their yards as plant cultivation place. Similar thing will also be done, like rainwater utilization for spraying plants and other needs.
"People are also asked not to do garbage burning haphazardly, because it can increase air temperature heating," he finished.
